Comeback season

So I switched gyms because now I work in central London. I found it almost impossible to come home after long busy hours with spreadsheets...to get up and go to the gym... it was not ideal...so I signed up to Easygym near the office!

The gym is very spacious and the equipment is quite serious...I still have to learn how to use them. I will review them later on, its too soon for me to give a fair and extensive review.

Last weekend I went to a fitness show for inspiration Miami Pro in London at the new Wimbledon Theatre. I went with my flatmate who is very into fitness and it was quite inspiring! A bit much if I'm honest but nevertheless admirable...their dedication and almost addiction to be fit!

So I haven't forgotten and the desire is still there...you know that feeling where the compromise to be better is entirely yours? It doesn't depend on anyone or anything...nor events...and even less what I say or post...the commitment is personal and that is the biggest challenge. 😜

So what have I been up to? Mainly trying to keep a work/life balance and attempting to eat healthy...while stress levels sometimes get the best of me...and I endup at the pub🙈

This was one my favourite meals this week:

•Seabass, brown rice and sweet potatoe wedges

Last night I went to pole dance class to push myself beyond boundaries... and stay active. I'm signed up with the London Dance Academy they do different classes like yoga, body conditioning and lots of exciting things. I am by no means a dance guru but I like a challenge and it is an incredible upper body workout. The studio is great and the mirrors help you see your moves...they almost whisper "You can do it!"

I will never stop until I feel like YES I did it...at times this journey is disheartening because you only get back what you invest...no practice no improvement. I've wondered why I'm I doing this again? Its super hard but I do recommend it because it is beyond fun!

Its a mental and physical struggle...friends and family, the not so friendly and those who have "no filter/keep it real" always tend to say things that you may not want to hear about your fitness journey like "I've heard this before"..."So much exercise and no results" "It must be your diet" or like my cousin "Just get a tummy tuck" ...words that sometimes do affect you positively or negatively but I try to use all the energy to help me keep pushing. This is only the beginning I keep telling myself.

I heard people usually start at the beginning...even if its a million times..
